Dress Code: Unforgettable Black Tie

Ladies, black tie does not mean you need to wear black! Please embrace color, sequins, feathers, volume, glitter, and drama. We are requesting formal, full-length attire rather than cocktail-length dresses, so get as dressed up as possible and really go for it.

Gentlemen, tuxedos are highly encouraged if you have one. After Friday’s welcome party, a buffet of accessories from Danny’s dress-up archive will be available to borrow in the bridal suite if you would like to add something special to your wedding look.

Please arrive with plenty of time to be seated before the ceremony begins promptly at 2:30 PM SHARP. Remember, church time means on time, and as good of a negotiator as Nicole is, she cannot negotiate with the Catholic Church.

Trolleys will depart from the Lafayette beginning at 1:00 PM. If you are staying elsewhere, we encourage you to meet us at the Lafayette and ride to the Mission, as there will be a few fun surprises along the way 🦓🚋💒🕵🏼‍♀️

The Mission’s museum will be open before the ceremony. At 257 years old, Mission San Diego de Alcalá is the oldest of California’s missions and well worth exploring if you would like to arrive early.
